Migrate from Django to React + Go
Django CRMs, stores and portals can outgrow their original monolith. If the admin is awkward, pages are slow and changes touch the whole application, we build a React interface and Go API while preserving data and business rules.
What teams build with Django
- CRMs and internal business systems
- Online stores and catalogs
- Portals with customer accounts
- Content websites and admin panels
Platform vs our custom development
| Parameter | Django | Our development · React + Go |
|---|---|---|
| Architecture | Audit coupling between UI, computation and server logic | Separate React screens, Go API and calculation services |
| Long operations | Audit workers, timeouts and job execution | Queues, task status and controlled retries |
| Reliability | Find failure causes in the current application | Workflow checks, metrics and error monitoring |
What holds your project back
Model administration is not a team workflow
Django Admin primarily manages data. Deals, approvals and complex workflows need dedicated screens; default lists and forms can become cumbersome.
Database queries grow with the catalog
Unoptimized ORM lists can make separate queries for related objects: the N+1 problem. Pagination, indexes and relation loading need checks with realistic data volumes; changing languages alone does not fix it.
Async depends on the whole request path
Synchronous middleware and calls from async code need adapters. Complex APIs require compatibility checks for ORM operations, transactions and libraries; declaring an async function does not make the entire request non-blocking.
What you gain after migration
Interface for real workflows
We design React screens, mobile layouts and customer accounts around daily work, including loading states and clear error handling.
Clear API and computation boundaries
We move agreed modules to a Go API and long jobs to a queue. Valuable Python models and calculations can remain separate services.
Reliability checks before switching
We verify authorization, data and integrations and measure response time and load on your workflows. Success is measured, not assumed from a language choice.
Maintainable code handover
We deliver the repository, documentation, key operation tests and startup instructions, plus logging and error monitoring.
Management tools for your team
We agree on the features you need and connect the services you already use.
Accounts and access control
We agree on roles, actions and data access for staff and customers.
Jobs and computation results
Users see progress, errors and saved results for long operations.
Management and integrations
We build team workflows and connect existing external services.
Migration process
We verify data and workflows before switching to the new system.
Python application audit
Map data, dependencies, roles, APIs and jobs. Measure problem workflows and document behavior that must remain compatible.
Module-by-module migration
Build the React interface and Go API in staging, retain useful Python services and compare data and integrations with the live version.
Verification and switchover
Check load, access and workflows, synchronize recent data and agree on a switchover window and rollback plan. Public pages also receive URL and SEO checks.
