Migrate from Yii2 to React + Go
Is your Yii2 CRM, store or portal becoming hard to extend? We rebuild the interface in React and agreed server modules in Go, preserving data, business rules and integrations.
What teams build with Yii2
- CRMs and internal business systems
- Online stores and catalogs
- Portals and customer accounts
- Admin panels and REST APIs
Platform vs our custom development
| Parameter | Yii2 | Our development · React + Go |
|---|---|---|
| Interface | Audit existing forms, widgets and customizations | React screens for team and customer workflows |
| Business logic | Map model, behavior and handler dependencies | Explicit Go API operations and behavior checks |
| Data and permissions | Existing database schema, files and access rules | Verified relationships, files, roles and permissions |
| Performance | Measure queries, response time and bottlenecks | Optimized workflows verified under load |
What holds your project back
CRUD screens do not cover team workflows
Gii speeds up model and CRUD generation. Deals, approvals, bulk actions and mobile workflows still need dedicated screens. When standard forms no longer fit, we review how people actually work.
Active Record can issue unnecessary queries
Lazy relation loading in lists can cause N+1 queries as record counts grow. We check relation loading, indexes and pagination with realistic data. Changing PHP to Go alone does not fix the cause.
Business rules are spread across the application
Validation, events, behaviors and handlers may affect the same operation from different places. Migration requires mapping these dependencies so important checks and actions survive the rewrite.
Permissions and integrations need more than a table copy
Yii2 supports access rules and RBAC. The new system needs equivalent roles, assignments and data access checks, alongside agreed external API contracts.
What you gain after migration
An interface for everyday workflows
We build React screens for staff and customers: related lists, forms, search, bulk actions and mobile layouts with clear loading and error states.
Server modules with explicit boundaries
We move agreed operations to a Go API, document contracts and separate long-running jobs. Suitable Yii2 modules can remain during the transition.
Preserved data and behavior
We verify relationships, files, statuses and calculations and recreate required validation and permissions. Key operations are compared with the existing version before switching.
Measured results and code handover
We compare response time and load on agreed workflows and deliver the repository, documentation, key operation checks and startup and rollback instructions.
Management tools for your team
We agree on the features you need and connect the services you already use.
Customers, deals and documents
We build screens, statuses, change history and search around agreed team processes.
Accounts and data access
We map existing roles and rules and verify staff and customer permissions for actions and individual records.
Integrations and background operations
We connect required payment, accounting and external services, with status tracking, error logs and controlled retries for long imports and exports.
Migration process
We verify data and workflows before switching to the new system.
Yii2 application audit
Review modules, Active Record models, validation, behaviors, roles, APIs and background jobs. Document key workflows, data and baseline measurements.
Module-by-module migration
Build the React interface and Go API in staging. Migrate agreed data, files and rules, connect integrations and compare results with Yii2.
Verification and switchover
Check access, calculations and load, then synchronize recent changes. Verify public URLs, metadata and redirects. Agree on a switchover window and rollback plan.
Optional marketing support
Traffic after migration
Capture the baseline, check redirects and indexing at launch, then monitor changes for 4–8 weeks. Scope is agreed separately.
