WordPress → Next.jsW74.media — a video studio on Next.js
Migrated Wolfram Media while preserving its visual identity, animations and video portfolio. Added two languages, individual project pages and a static build without WordPress.

What we built
- Preserved the visual identity, animations, team, services, locations and video players.
- Added two languages with switching between the same content.
- Created individual pages for 27 video projects: 17 portfolio works and 10 vertical videos.
- Expanded Marianna Volskaya’s profile with works, press, professional recognition and documents.
- Main videos load on visitor interaction, with a CDN and an S3 fallback.
- Added AVIF/WebP images, SEO, social previews, structured data and Markdown versions of pages.
Result
A completed bilingual website for static hosting. Each work has a shareable URL; the website runs without a server-side CMS.
- 64 main pages, including 54 video viewing pages across two languages.
- Modern variants of 72 images total about 5.04 MB, compared with 12.75 MB for the originals.
- Removed 161 unused images from the export, reducing the package from 86.96 to 67.09 MB.
